It may be a bad switch/button or the cable may be disconnected. Do either of the driver side buttons work? (My assumption is that like the SC430, your RX450 has 2 seat buttons.)
1. Move the seat forward until you hear a beep.
2. Move the seat all the way back.
3. Move the seatback angle switch forward until you hear a beep
4. Move the seat back angle switch all the way reclined.
5. Set the memory now.
This worked for me when I first bought my car. Recently when I disconnected my battery, moving my seat to the limits didn't do anything, no beeps.
It just dawned on me today, THIS IS PROBABLY A SEQUENCE PROCEDURE, it has to be done in sequence.
I am going to try it, as written, when I go out to my car later today and see if it resolves my problem.

So I followed the sequence and still didn't get any beeps, but when I programmed my seats they "took." The only thing I did different was have the engine on and the door open when I was moving them and when I was programming the seats.
Make sure you are in park with ignition ON. Assuming you are....
1. Move the seat forward until you hear a beep.
2. Move the seat all the way back.
3. Move the seatback angle switch forward until you hear a beep
4. Move the seat back angle switch all the way reclined.

Can confirm this worked on my 2004 SC. Thank you so much, second time it happened to me and last time had to take it to the dealer, save me some $

This sounds like the problem which occurs after power has been disconnected. The seats have to be "re-taught" their limits before the memory will work.
You should check your manual because I think different years have different procedures. Here's a couple posts from another thread:
What you have to do is move the seat back all the way forward using the power seat back switch until you hear a beep , then move the seat cushion back the entire way again using the power seat control, next move the seat cushion all the way forward using the power control. You can now put the seat in the position you desire and push set and #1.

2. Move the seat all the way back.
3. Move the seatback angle switch forward until you hear a beep
4. Move the seat back angle switch all the way reclined.
5. Set the memory now.

HI
I tried this for my 2012 - RX450h....did not work. Passenger side works fine but the driver side buttons are dead.
For my 2010 SC430 - I set the seats and it beeps when I do that, but when I need to put those seats back and push the memory button - there's no beep. No change.
I guess I will try the instructions listed and see if that will fix it.
