It may be a bad switch/button or the cable may be disconnected. Do either of the driver side buttons work? (My assumption is that like the SC430, your RX450 has 2 seat buttons.)

1. Move the seat forward until you hear a beep.
2. Move the seat all the way back.
3. Move the seatback angle switch forward until you hear a beep
4. Move the seat back angle switch all the way reclined.
5. Set the memory now.

This worked for me when I first bought my car. Recently when I disconnected my battery, moving my seat to the limits didn't do anything, no beeps.
It just dawned on me today, THIS IS PROBABLY A SEQUENCE PROCEDURE, it has to be done in sequence.

I am going to try it, as written, when I go out to my car later today and see if it resolves my problem.

My (2012) R450h has 3 Setting buttons (1,2,3) in addition to the SET button. (SPORTS LUXURY).

The passenger side SET and 3 settings work fine. The Driver side setting buttons are dead.

The car seat and steering do adjust to the position when I sit in the car.

May it's a late model issue. Any one experienced this.

ALSO is followed the procedure. NO Impact. I do not get any beeps.

So I followed the sequence and still didn't get any beeps, but when I programmed my seats they "took." The only thing I did different was have the engine on and the door open when I was moving them and when I was programming the seats.

sir, try asking your questions in the RX450 section...I bet you would find an answer.

you can stay here but we discuss the SC430.

Here is the RX450

This sounds like the problem which occurs after power has been disconnected. The seats have to be "re-taught" their limits before the memory will work.

You should check your manual because I think different years have different procedures. Here's a couple posts from another thread:

What you have to do is move the seat back all the way forward using the power seat back switch until you hear a beep , then move the seat cushion back the entire way again using the power seat control, next move the seat cushion all the way forward using the power control. You can now put the seat in the position you desire and push set and #1.

1. Move the seat forward until you hear a beep.
2. Move the seat all the way back.
3. Move the seatback angle switch forward until you hear a beep
4. Move the seat back angle switch all the way reclined.
5. Set the memory now.
Been searching everywhere to fix this !!!!!

For my 2010 SC430 - I set the seats and it beeps when I do that, but when I need to put those seats back and push the memory button - there's no beep. No change.

I guess I will try the instructions listed and see if that will fix it.

Thank you
