Will these 06 sc taillights work if the pins are missing (circled area)? Anyone who did this mod, remember the pins and will this be a problem?

Sure they will... "work", those pins are just to guide the lights into position.

 

It would work.... Not ideal though I pondered buying some like that but after I installed I can see why the pins were important and perhaps help sealing moisture out? Perhaps. The discount would have to be significant enough to me IMO to do it... Last thing you need is moisture behind the lights.
