If you look at the most recent edition of the "official" SC color charts (toyotareference.com) you will see a chart for the 3rd generation SC ("2011--coming soon"), but no picture. News to me. Any info on this out there? And yes, Lexus does know/keeps secret a lot that I don't know.

2010 is the last year for the SC430.

The next generation SC is planned for 2014. Yeah, there's a gap, and I can only speculate why.

By then, I think the SC will have a new V8 that differs from the current V8 found in the LS460 and GS460. We'll have to wait and see...

its ok. What really made the SCs so nice and unique was their extended body style. Now it just looks like your average coupe

Looks boring to me. The current SC was very unique and beautiful when it came out. This is not in my opinion. It looks too much like every other boring Lexus currently offered. I wish Lexus would go back to making a few of their offerings different from the rest of the lineup. Plus, it looks even smaller than the ISC.

the current 430 is a gem that shines compared to the bland L lineup.

years ago, I bought the Infiniti J30 and felt the same way.
likewise, a gem among lifeless motoring rocks.

to keep us all, L must think outside their safe blandness.

 

Just hope it comes with a supercharged 5.7!
