console shift indicator

I've just bought a 2006 sc430 and the car is nearly perfect, but the console shift indicator has been badly scratched, and I'd like to replace it with a new one. Has anybody done this, and how expensive was it?

Or do you mean the "Shift Position Indicator" ? This diagram below is for the 2002 model.

Yes, I mean the metal plate with P,R,N etc on it.

Not sure if the sell by itself. You may have to purchase it as a unit. You'll need to speak to a parts manager at your local stealership.
