Ok so I'm driving along the other night and my left headlamp flickerd out this headlamp has been replaced a couple months ago does any one know if this is common. by the way its 2007 sc430. I also wiggled the wires behind the headlamp to see if it was loose connection no luck. Any help would be appreciated

I would take it to wherever you got it replaced, should have some type of warranty, I wouldn't think it would be normal for it to be out in a few months.

I had a similar experience a while back. Turned out to be a small crack in the little black box that holds the ballast. Water got in. Dryed it up, sealed the crack with caulk and no problem since.

I would take it to the dealer cause I think the car is still under manu. warranty. Hope it won't cost you anything.

+1 on using the dealer as much as possible! he he I wore them out with my platinum warranty...God help them if I had bought the car NEW on top of that! They would have been better off just giving me a new car.

whoever put the bulb in might not have used the right intensity...I have seen the wrong intensity bulbs burn ballasts before. somewhat rare, but does happen, especially with cheap bulbs

when you take it out, please take a pic or report back to us what type of bulb it is. Perhaps they put the wrong one in? Also, try some bulb grease they sell in auto parts stores.

+1, good tip on the bulb grease, most people never use it and regret it when they have to do a replacement
