Maintenance Schedule
Just had my 10,000 mile service; previously had the 1000 and 5000. When I got home, I noticed on the little dealer windshield sticker that the next recommended maintenance would be at 13,700. That seems a little too quick...I was assuming every 5000 miles. Before I question the dealer, I intend to call Lexus to see if they put out a TSB on the SC430 maintenance schedule. Anyone here on the Forum come across this? Comments?

FIRST BASE: Check Service / Owner's Manual;
SECOND BASE: Check with your Service Manager. Possible that the Maintenance Tech, simply forgot that this was a new SC 430, which I believe calls for 5,000 Mile / 6 month Service Schedules, unless your running under "Severe Conditions";
THIRD BASE: Call Lexus, and watch them direct you back to your Dealer, who likely will tell you what your Service Manual suggests.
My Dealer indicated that since I'm using Mobil Synthetic Oil, once a year or 7,500 miles will work for me, since a lot of my trips are on the Free Way.
That said, I'm doing a 5,000 Mile Oil / Filter change every 6 Months, whichever comes first.
