Blinking nav icon
I got into my sc430 2002 tonight and noticed that the little circle with triangle inside, that represents the car on the nav screen is blinking.
I could swear that it is usually steady. Someone confirm, it's normally steady or blinking!
thanks

Maybe that indicates that the nav-system is not sure of the exact position?
(Can't check right now, the car is sitting under a car cover in my garage waiting for April 1
)

thanks Thang!
OK, it appears that gen 2/3 nav blinks, and gen 4-5 doesn't blink. Or, maybe its the nav version. I have 3.1, and it blinks.
A small thing, but surprised this was never visited. Once you notice the blinking icon, it is a bit distracting. I wonder if us gen 2/3 users can fix this with a newer version...

I checked my version after I got my car and if I remember right I have nav version 4.1 though I am not sure. I forget how do you find out what version you have?

maybe the blinking has to do with satellite reception, or whether guidance is running, or the level of zoom, or if poi being used, or ?......

Has anyone done the unthinkable and just broken out the manual to see if if says anything about this?
