Has anyone changed the color of the lights behind the radio and temp gauge?

arent the DRLs the same as the high beam but just powered with half the voltage? or is that only on the 2006-2009s? in my car there is a 168 parking light (which is part of the DRL housing) which i want to replace with a LED bulb to match my HIDs, but i cant fit my hand in the small space to pull out the 168 bulb and switch it with a LED 168 bulb. do you have any ideas?

That's actually what I was doing today. I went to autozone and picked up some silverstar ultra's thinking that the highbeam was the source of the ugliness. That's when I noticed that the little light is a majority of the cause.

In order to change, you might have to pull off your front bumper. I had to work on some other stuff so I had to pull off my front bumper anyway.

I took out the headlight washers. I just hate the wayu they break up the front of the car.

Is there a "step-by-step" somewhere?

Thanks!

you just need to remove the cover over the front tyers and pull the pulb wire slowley and the bulb will come out. Then change the bulb with the LED one and fit it back. thats what I did and it was easy becuse my hands are small (:

My car looked like this after installing the LEDs
