Got keyed!!!! Wtf
Another sign of tough economic times.
The fine individual proceeded on decorating my trunk, fender and passenger door. Although i must admit i liked the car the way it was before the artwork.
Since misery want's company i was just wondering if anyone else got the same treatment.

I must add. It was a very much unprovoked deed. I Peacefully parked the car and went into a grocery store for 10 minutes. The car was particularly shiny yesterday so i guess that was a factor.

Yes and Yes. After a quick internet search revealed that the best course of action was to notify the police. The insurance company needs the Police Report Number. Everything is covered under (Comprehensive Insurance). It's cataloged as Vandalism and thus considered a no-fault incident.

That's plenty of money fwoIII. Two separate shops quoted $2300 and $1700. The $2300 was full of ******t. He was going to charge me $100 per emblem. I don't know much about body shops but... you can smell when someone is trying to screw you.
I just know that the overcoat is Lexus special. Hopefully the new paint job will look as good. On a second thought, i might have the whole thing debadged anyway...

I'm very sorry to hear that. But, you're located in Utah though. I go there once a year and the people there seem very nice. At least much nicer than the people here in LA and less hating.
