Default Orange on rear light

Do you know where I can purchase a rear vinyl to cover the orange signal on the rear tail light? This is a mod that was popular on RSX forums.

Do you mean the orange of the bulb? If so just buy those chrome bulbs that that flash orange.

If you mean tint for the older type rear lense then ebay used to sell it precut for a few dollars.

The red vinyl, a red-out.

I couldn't find any on ebay but thanks. I guess I will just buy some red vinyl and cut it to match.

Oh right no not red, only seen smoke. Although might be worth asking them to cut you a red one.

It’s really easy, and honestly I'd recommend getting the sheets, you have to be 100% precise with the pre cut pieces or else you will mess it up, with the sheets if you mess up you can try again with another piece. What I did was cut a piece a few inches bigger on each side, then I applied it onto the light, I used a blow-dryer to make things a little easier. Then just take a sharp knife, razor (preferred cutting tool) and run it along the grove created by the light and the body panel, work perfectly and never had any issues with the film peeling or fading. Oh yea and it's cheaper too!

Thanks, just ordered from them. I was hesitant before because they said 14-21 days but better than nothing.

Once the kit arrives you will see that they included a plastic applicator.
Clean the surface of the lights, use the corner of your towel or q-tips to get the crack between the body panel and the light, you want to make sure all surface dirt and grime it removed.

Once you are sure the surface and all cracks are clean, get a 2nd pair of hands to help you. follow the instructions I posted above and you should be ok, have one person tug on the vinyl and hold the blow-dryer 6-9 inches off the material and just work the material on the light with out over stretching it or allowing wrinkles to settle. Once cut use the applicator wedge in the ends/corners of the material into that crack you earlier cleaned. Use the blow-dryer and make sure that material sticks in those areas. I didn’t even bother doing the little top piece it all looked the same afterwards
