Default Price drops in winter?

Good morning...I am starting my shopping for either a GS350 or a CPO 06+ SC430 and have been digging around your forums and finally decided to join so that I could bombard you all with my newbie questions.

On the SC430 in a climate that does not see severe winters (I am in Atlanta, GA), do you guys see price drops in the winter? In the past, I have picked up some GREAT deals on more conventional convertibles on rainy, winter days late in the month (practically stole my S2000!). I figure the 06/07 models will come down a bit more when the 09 hits the street as well. So, in my mind, it seems that if I go with the SC, it would be best to sit tight for a few months. Agreed?

Thanks!
-GT

I do not think that the SC430 is effected by the Winter issue because it is a hardtop/Convertible. If it was a soft top, than maybe. The SC430 is an awesome car in any weather.

I agree the time of the year may be less important than find your color combination and then try to negotiate the price.
In my experience not all deallers equall try several, back 3 years ago Lexus of South Atlanta got me the deal I was looking for. I was not impressed with their sales department but the price was right and as I found later the service department is very good. I am still servising there even it is 50 miles from Alpharetta.

I bought my car in late February in California. By July the price was up $5,000 for the white/saddle color combo. Time of year definitely makes a difference in California.
