Discounted SC 430
I had my SC in for its oil change and wandered the showroom.
First time I have seen the SC with a discounted sticker sign on the window of 5 grand off MSRP.
Same deal with the new LS 460..........
As good as these cars are they are not selling ..................

I'm pals w/a Lexus Dealer owner who told me today that even though they're having their biggest sale of the year, cars are just not selling.... even with markdowns never given before.... especially if they have a V8. Even the LX is discounted, and I've never seen that happen before. (Mine gets about 9mpg in the city... go figure!)

It has a lot to do with the down economy and of course the V8 does not help. Lately I 've been driving the SC close to the freeway speed limit and getting about 25 mpg on average which I think is not that bad for a V8.
