Basically its what sends the power to the transmission in autos and a higher stall speed lets the engine rev higher with less rev drops between shifting.

The wiki page explains the ins and outs

No cel with several thousand miles on it.
I have the Extreme unit but if I had to do it over again would go the Dragon route. There is a marked difference in performance.

Why do you think there is a big difference in performance? Is the Dragon one smaller and lighter?

Out of interest whats the stock stall speed, 2600 ?

TBH id rather keep within the stall limits and not kick the cel off, so the Lextreme one would suit my needs better. Plus if I ever sell the car I would not go to the trouble of removing it, so with a cel on would be tricky to sell car.

btw thanks David for the super quick delivery to the UK, be another 3-4 weeks before I get it installed.
