Just picked up our new NX yesterday for the wife. Been mostly a positive experience.

One thing we find annoying is the silly ECO light that keeps flickering on and off. It's very bright and sometimes makes us think that we've left the turn signal on or something.

Is there any way to permanently de-activate the light? I've checked most of the settings menus to no avail.. perhaps through the dealer? Would any one know if this is possible or not? I know it's disabled in Sport mode. Wish they left if out of the default Normal driving mode as well.

 

yes. there is a way to disable that ECO. its on the drivers steering menu. not sure where, but its pretty simple

It's found in the center (Multi Informational) menu, far right side "the little gear" menu. There's a setting in there that says ECO light, just toggle that to off and save.

 

 

Mine is a 2015. I can't speak to the 2018 model specifically. I have an option that says "ECO". Its a few options down, on that menu, but once i toggled it off that light no longer comes on for me.

 

 

 

 

Just drive it in sport mode and then no eco indicator

 

Lexus must have dropped the option sometime after 2017.
