Default Remote roof opening

Just received my remote roof opener from Luxlink in California. Included is the rear quarter windows opener. I have the remote starter but am not too interested in that. Why would I start my car when I am outside? Now, how do I wire it in? Any pictures anywhere to follow? The instructions were unfortunately too general, ie they are for any car. I need specific help for my 2004 SC 430. Just where do all those wires go? There are about 16 wires which look like they need soldering or fixing to something. But to what?

This is the key issue with LuxLink (sorry for the pun). Has anyone tried an "aftermarket" remote? Do those even work with our car?

Would increasing the voltage in the key slightly (e.g. 2 volt battery) increase output or just fry the components?

Default remote start

>>Why start your car when you're outside of it?

I use my remote start to get the A/C going on a hot day, or to get the heat going on a cold day and lets the car warm up.

The temperature will be much more comfortable when you enter the vehicle

Replacing old battery in my key with new battery of same type improved range and reliability of LuxLink.

SC430Blue (Weny) is doing East Coast installs at a very reasonable price and excellent workmanship.

Default Remote roof open/close on an SC430 in Australia?

Are you in Australia? Will Luxlink or other module/interface work for remote roof open/close on an SC430 in Australia?

They should work on all SC430s equally, as it works with the original key. But keep in mind this thread is 9 years old, and the LuxLink hasn't been manufactured in years. You can still find them online (here, ebay) sometimes though. Good luck, it's the best add-on/mod out there IMHO!

Default Remote roof operation SC430

Thank you. I will check tonight. I have an appointment with an auto electrician on Monday, but they have never done this before.
