Hello everyone. Recently purchased a 2002 sc430 . After an hour of driving I began to hear a buzzing or humming coming from the backseat on the passenger side . Sounds almost like a fan. Car drives just fine but the buzzing is driving me nuts. Any ideas ? Hopefully I'm posting this in the right section . Bear with me ,I'm a newb.. Just joined today.Thanks guys.

That sound might be your amp cooling fan from right rear.

If you are playing your radio when you hear it - it might be the subwoofer (under the rear seat), or possibly a bad rear speaker..After this many years, one of them may be blown. If you are at all handy, you can replace the foam surround (the part that breaks) yourself. Pretty cheap and easy to do. ...there are a couple of good step-by-step DIY's on this site to help you through it.

BTW - the quickest way to determine if this is the problem: If you have the radio/audio on when you hear it, turn the volume off - if it goes away - you found it.
