Default sc430 Leather problems

Hi, I own a 2003 sc430 and I have a question I am having problems with the leather interior mainly the seats... My front passenger leather started to rip by itself. No one ever sets on the seat though... So I went to the dealship and bought a bottle of leather 3 step leather cleaner and stuff. And when I place it on it was ok... until I rubbed it on the back seat heads which started to come to pieces out of no where... I never though much about it after and s few weeks later my back seat started to come to piece as well... Any suggestions on how to fix this? This bottle of leather cleaner fom toyota/lexus was about 28 dollars like the high end stuff and its not working... Any suggestion on stopping the tearing???
Lexus really disappoint me not the leather but the back seat head which is a piece of crap...

it seems like the leather are completely cracked already, in that case i don't think the solutions will help, they are good for cleaning and conditioning, but not repairing... my guess is the leather has gone bad over the years without proper care... and it's going to be tough to fix.... probably need to get new ones?

My rear seat head rests cracked and tore on the back edge, foam was showing. Lexus of Orlando re-covered both head rests like new under Platinum extended warranty. Have you tried to get some warranty coverage for all the leather issues?

OT - this is why I condition my leather 4 - 5 times a year. Both my 01' GS and 05' SC leather are

By the way, this is what I used:

http://www.meguiars.com/?automotive-...er-Conditioner

I personally don't think you need those expensive stuffs from the dealership (not saying they don't work). This Meguiars product is identical to what I got a long time ago from Japan. I haven't found anything better than this.

I believe an ignorant member here said the leather is coated and never needs maintenance.

I apply Zaino leather conditioner at least once a month.

Which one is better? Meguiar's or Lexol?

Should i be worried about the color coming off from the seats? I have the red leather interior.

No cracks and the car sees plenty of sun. I also maintain the leather and would not blame Lexus, BMW, Porsche, etc due to lack of care. The sun destroys everything over time.
My 968's Cab leather was in horrible shape. Dried out and very hard. Not Porsches fault.

That's why the roof is always up when my SC is parked anytime, anywhere. Some convertible owners leave their parked cars under the sun with the top down . . .

There are problems with all my seat except the driver seat I think it might be because no one usually ever sit in any of the other seat. The seat feels like when i first got the car. which basic started to crack itself except driver seat. and yeah i condition it once a month but no good. the condition is from lexus
