Default Daizen Sway Bars

I switched from runflats to Pilot Sport A/S. That made a huge difference. Next best change seems to be Daizen sway bars. Where is the best place to get them? Any advice on installation? Recommendations of an installation shop in the Chicago area? Thanks

I second TM. Got mine from them. I plan on getting my TC from them within weeks and probably have them install it and I never allow people touch my car.

a lot, that's for sure. it's totally worth the money. stock wise the sc430 doesn't really handle that well. with the sways the car becomes so much flatter

Just like Henry said. Much flatter in the corners and for maneuvers. Very well worth the money and then some.

I just got a new 06 SC430, and want to lessen the body roll without compromising the ride. Would just replacing the stock anti-roll bar with Daizen achieve what I want, without having to replacing the suspension as well? Thanks.

Default slow response from TM Engineering

How long does it take for you to get a response from TM Engineering? It has been 4 days since I sent them an email, and almost 2 days since I left them a message, and still no response. I would be be concerned if I am going to get the Daizen sway bar from a company with this type of non-response.

I understand your frustrations. I would normally feel this way as well, but I have know Todd since the days that CL was nothing on the internet. You can count on him. I spoke to him last week I believe and he was out of state.
Shoot him a PM, his ID is Doublewoosh

Yeah, TM Engineering's bad about responding to emails...unless you buy from them. At least that's my experience w/them. FWIW, I purchased 2 items from them on 2 different occasions w/o any issues.

please read the following thread

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=240412

todd talked to me briefly on 9/25 and was completely saddened by the news. fortune is todd's best friend and todd is now on an urgent trip to FL.

so please give todd a bit of time to recover and catch up with everything. not to mention he was completely swamped the weekend before because of EOS meet.

Default Thanks!

I hope Tod feels better, I guess I caught him at a bad time...

Just went to the taste of Lexus event today, and drove the LS460, S550, and 750. Lexus has the best ergonomics and feels tossable, but S550 stands well with its rock solid handling. 750 strangely feels heavy and has the worse ergonomics.

Speaking of handling, I was impressed by the GS450h, especially the direct steering feeling. When I drove around the cones, the GS steering responds instantly to my input and is precise, almost as good as my other car, the M3 cabrio. It was beyond my expectations, especially the car weighs around 4200lbs while my M is around 3500lbs.

This got me thinking, how could I make the SC's steering feel the same? I think the third generation GS has probably better chasis than the SC430, but is it possible to improve the steering feel of the SC?

the gs450 has active rear stablizer, which is effectively a computer controlled rear sway bars, that's why the superb handling. i drove the car, the handling is superb, and to certain extend almost comparable to my modded cars including gs400

the option is not available on the sc430. you can add sway bars and change out the suspension, it could be pretty close. but steering would still not be as good imho.

it's a mistake you didn't drive the gs350. that car doesn't have the active rear stablizer. drive that thing and you will feel the difference immediately, the handling of the gs350 isn't that good

and btw, the gs450h is not 4200lb. the car can't be that heavy. that's ls460 territory. the gs should be around 3600lb
