Actually, hlee1169 is pretty close. The GS450h weighs 4134 pounds while the GS430 weighs 3748 pounds & the rwd GS350 weighs 3704 pounds:

The GS450h weighs that much due to the hybrid battery & what not in the trunk. That's what all the covered carpet stuff in the trunk taking away space is.

hlee1169, your M3 cab weighs 3781 pounds.

haha you must have missed this:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=225690

starting post 244. i test drove all the cars and did in depth review on all of them.

i am sure i will get another car down the road. for sure it won't be the GS, i dont' think it looks right at all (at least for now). it won't be the IS neither since it's too small for me, doesn't make sense. no way it's another sc430, my parents would dis-own me.

so you do the math

Ha, I was thinking of the M3 coupe weight, of course the cab is heavier.

As for the SC, I guess I would need to put on the Daizen sway to see how much flatter for the cornering.

Actually I am quite temped by the GS450h, good mileage & performance. Originally I was wondering why R&T and C&D are comparing it to 550 sports and M45 because I thought it's not targeted toward that crowd, but then the Taste of Lexus Event was touting its performance aspect. But the big flaw with the car is that there's a delay when you got WOT, which was also noted in the magazine. Maybe I would wait for Lexus to fix the bugs, but the hybrid is looking to me!

The only reason I was referring to the M3 cab weight (3781 pounds) was b/c you said you had an M3 cab:

But yeah, the M3 weighs 3415 pounds. The M3 coupe's a great car. Looking back, I regret selling it. Oh well, I'll have another sports car in a few months...

Henry,

Lol, gotcha!
