Wiper Fluid Warning Light Stays On
The low wiper fluid warning light on my 2004 SC 430 will not go out.
The fluid ran out after I was adjusting the spray to properly hit the windshield.
After I refilled the fluid reservoir the warning light would not go out.
Anyone have any ideas, besides "remove the bulb?"
(My last comment was for the benefit of the jerk who posted the comment on my windshield glare post and suggested sunglasses solved the windshield glare problem for him. Obviously he has more problems than just solving his windshield glare problem.)

It may be possible that some dirt went into the sensor. If possible, try to clean out the tank or sensor.

Thanks for the idea. I flushed the tank with a garden hose and that probably dislodged dirt you suspected may have gotten into the system. Low warning light is now out.

And it did not require a trip to the Lexus dealer for some really expensive parts...

Yes, same thing happened to me. Took about two short drives in the car after adding fresh solution before the light went out. Just in time because I was getting ready to tear into it.
