Default Able to Use Navigation While Driving???

I searched for this and couldn't find anything. Does anybody here know how to defeat the "safety" feature that keeps you from programming the unit while driving? Or how about turning off that annoying "I agree" screen off. [edited]

THANKS!

If you searched for the directions about how to override the lockout feature that prevents you from entering destinations while driving, you did not search very well, as that has been posted here many times over the years. (Try searching on "override.")

Sewell Lexus has excellent prices on Nav DVDs.

If you had the right software and some experience and a high level DVD burner with DL capability, you might be able to make a backup copy of your own disc for your own use (which is not a copyright violation), but selling such a copy would be illegal and therefore something that is not discussed here. And they don't always work very well, anyway.

moderators will throw tantrums regarding discussing copying dvds, don't think you'll be seeing discussion of them here.

there are workarounds that you can do each time you start the car but as far as i know nothing permanent. passangers manipulating the nav being an edge case, i'd leave it alone as it's there for a reason.

please refrain from any software piracy topics here, we do not allow that and will take appropriate actions, thanks.

search for nav override on the forum, there are instructions to do some secret codes to override the nav. you can also run wire to speed sensor on nav to override it, but override sequence is good enough for me
