Default GS Coilovers for SC

I found this great post on lexusownersclub.co.uk about spring rates for coilovers for the GS.
For those of us who are looking for any coilover solution for the SC that is not on backorder for the next 3 months this might be an option.

I have seen that the TEIN CS for the SC have a spring rate of 10 front and 6 rear. so in comparison to the following chart it looks like the HKS hipermax II would be a perfect match!!

a list of coilover spring rates of available coilover systems
these are for the JZS16x and JSZ147 Aristos (aka: 2nd GS300/GS400/GS430 and 1st generation GS300). All numbers are Kg/mm^2 and the lower the number, the softer the ride. I have listed them from softest (near stock) to stiffest (hope you have a well padded ***!)...however, some setups use pretty stiff front springs with soft rear springs so it's not an exact softest to stiffest list...
Generally, the dampening rates are matched to the springs (so soft dampening with soft springs)

There are a few missing

Great info Looks very similar to one we have here from '02.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ht=spring+rate

I'd encourage you to look for reviews of these in the GS forum before buying to get owners perspectives on them, PM me if you need help searching for any of them in particular and I'll see if I can track down some info.

yea I read through that before thats where I got all the spring rates from, most people on CL use teins and some use the blistein pss. I havent seen too many of the other brands of coil overs for sale that would sound like it would work well with the SC's. That is why I only mentioned on getting the blistein PSS.
