has anyone had any issues with the "newer" version of the headers? i actually have the new headers but im trying to get a feel for whether or not theyre going to bite me in the *** later. i dont really feel like having a crack runnin through my headers while driving far from home hahahah

I have not heard of a single issue with the newer versions at all. Or the older versions that have been welded properly. Normally once they start they start slowly with a small leak and grow after that.

On the O2 extension, like Tony says, extending them is no issue at all.

If you cut the wires and extend them by soldering longer wires, will that mess with the resistance in the wire??? or the reading of the O2 sensor??

JPI are you guys planning on making headers? Im deciding on buying some but the dreaded crack issue and the lack of a shop to install them has helpd me back. I can wait if you guys have designed something better which I prefer.

The headers are coming. We had to make a lot of changes. The finish date was push back 2-3 weeks. Thank you.

JPI - that sounds interesting ! Maybe you can add some custom heatshields or enable to run with the OEM one's ...
