Default cold air intake + pipes wow am I dumb

I am here to confess what a fool I have been. I got the full blizt pipes for my car from Japan this summer and had them installed. I have complained that it wasn't loud enough and had little difference for the $1000.00. I have had the injen cold air intake sitting in my garage for a few months. Well, I finally put on the cold air intake and boy what a difference. The is definately louder and faster. I am a fool for not putting it in sooner. I am sure it is the combo of the two and now the engine can breath!!!

I really hope its your intake making all that noise and not the exhaust I plan on putting in my blitz exhaust this weekend and unlike most people I like mine pretty quiet after having a really loud exhaust prior. I was really thinking about getting that SRT intake or a CAI until i heard how loud it was and luckily Lee was selling his blitz intake and said it was quiet so I picked up that one.

Default intake

I don't think the intake itself makes much noise. But with it installed and the blitz pipes it must be pushing more air. The sound has changed deeper and louder. It still is not verry loud compared to alot of cars out there. Sounds like a v8 now, but only when you floor it.

The Blitz exhaust is very quiet. I was going to post a video with sound but I cound not even hear it from inside the cab with the top open. The Blitz intake was louder. Now with the SRT intake, forget it, a 747 landed in my engine bay and it's staying.
