Default Cold Air Intake?

I know that SRT had a cold air intake because Jacob T has one of the old ones. My question is, is there a way of coverting our intake into a cold air? does anyone know if this could be done? also why hasnt anyone tried to make another cold air intake? I know that there is a risk of getting water into your engine but that is why AEM made a water filter blocker what ever you call it ? why did they stop making them? someone please shed some light.

man I tired to get the pic but i cant find it

Here is my intake that Erick was talking about. Since it sucks in cold air from outside the engine room so whenever the weather gets cool, I can feel the kick right away. There're several CL members heard my intake at our TX meet, it's a lot quieter than the current SRT intake.

There's a custom made elbow piece that goes thru the hole behind the pass. side head light, if you can make that piece then you can convert the current SRT intake to my type.
