I got to the BT screen and my values were set to 0. When I changed them I thought that it was the thing to do to press the set button. Everything returned to 0. Can anyone please look at their screen and tell me what the setting is for the initial block under the volume settings. I know there was something there but now it is set at 0 and the phone does not work at all. I have a BT connection but no incoming or outgoing sound. I guess there is a numerical setting that goes in this box that is to allow sound.

THis doesn't answer your direct question, but it doesn't sound modifying the Bluetooth gain like this is going to help your "connection but no incoming/outgoing sound" problem. Zero on this menu is not "no sound." The menu runs from minus five to plus five. It is not just volume but more volume/noise canceling. Turning it up to +5 makes background noise unbearable.
