NavTool is for video to the OEM Nav screen and installs in the trunk. Another competitor is NavIKS on ebay. I personally use NavIKS. These give you two video inputs to the OEM Nav screen. Beatsonic is for incorporation of a new headunit and also allows remote steering wheel controls, from my understanding. Beatsonic does not alter the OEM Nav Screen. Additionally, I believe beatsonic has a single video input, usually for rearview camera.

Navtool allows you to install a backup camera to be displayed on your pop up OEM navigation display. It has an additional video input so if you want to install a DVD player to be displayed on your oem navigation screen.
Beatsonic harness allows you to replace your radio head unit with an aftermarket head such as a Panasonic, with relatively simple plug and play installation. It does not interface with your OEM Navigation display.
