where can you get that grill above or any after market grill. I was planning on having mine painted black but this may be an alternative since the paint doesn;t stick on chrome great.

You can have it Bead blasted using glass beads and then powder coat satin or flat
or get a blitz grill

The grill is plastic so powder coating probably won't work.
Junction Produce makes a billet grill for around $500

You could probs make a similiar grill with some mesh. Should be quite easy to get hold of my local DIY shop sells tons of the stuff in all sorts of flavours. Failing that Ive seen quite a few on eBay.

The one in the pic was custom made.. so you wont buy that one of the shelf.

that grill cost about $14.95 from home depot. you just need your own wire cutters. Its roofing material and you buy it in sheets of like 6ft x 4ft. Its huge sheet for like 15 bucks. There is usually two sets one thats glued to a black sheet and one thats not glues to anything try to get the one not glues to anything or else your gonna have to take off the black sheet which isnt hard just takes an extra 5 minutes. Just cut out the shape you want and either glue it on the back of the grill frame or tie wrap it.

How about just taking off the Lexus emblem and be done with it?

I cant believe anyone would really make their grill from Home Depot, I mean for the SC430, come on now- that would make it look cheap. You can buy a pre-made mesh grill from an auto parts store like Kragen for 20-30 bucks and it will be nicer than any mesh purchased at a hardware store.

Yeah but you can keep chickens in the leftover material. Try that with a grill from an auto parts store!
