One "good" side effect of the fires of late in SoCal are the awesome sunsets we've been having.
I just picked up my SC 430 and thought I'd share a pic or two with you as my first post.

Hi Henry, yes it is me, Josh. I still have my 2001 Gold TL (as seen below) but I'll be parting out and letting that go pretty soon. I feel that I've been let down one too many times with the dying Acura trannies.

The SC pictured is a humble, unmodified '02 silver that I got second hand. Let's see how long I last till the modding bug bites me again. First mod will have to be the new luxlink unit, whenever that comes out.

Nice TL, I thought Acura fixed the tranny issue with newer units.

 

From my experience, the "new" replacement Acura/Honda trannies are still defective. I've had three tranny replacements, and am gearing up for a fourth.

It's a joy to drive the SC, a car with a reliable automatic tranny.

 

acura never really fixed teh tranny problems, so much about honda quality on that. that's why i sold my tl-s as well, no way i am taking chances on that stupid thing.

and welcome again josh, seems like we will meet up again soon huh trust me man, you are going to love this car. i have had 3 lexus already and i am just loving it more and more. the sc430 is simply the best machine i have had.
