well by comparison my sc430 has a lot less "problems" i guess maybe the door problem is kinda as common as the sunroof problem on the gs?

rominl, aren't you in NorCal? keyes must be awesome if you make the trek down just for service! maybe i will give them a try. i have tried all the san diego dealers and they just don't do a good job. most of the time i think i know more than the service advisors writing the order.

my SC is at the shop now for the underbody noise. it's been there for 3 days, and i had to go back after day 1 to test drive with the tech b/c they were trying to give me the "could not duplicate" story. i put my foot down and said i offered to drive with them on day 1, and of course they were like, no, it's ok. but then tried to pull a fast one on me. so i drove back and drove with the tech exactly how i described to him how he could duplicate it himself, and he was like, yeah, i hear it now. they called me yesterday to tell me it's done although maybe not 100% of the underbody noise is eliminated after driving my car for 20+ miles (the convertibles-will-creak story). argh!

yup i am in norcal, but frankly most of my stuff (service, diagnosis, and mods) are all done in socal. my wife lives and works there. labar is cheaper in LA and i have more knowledgeable contacts there.

and yes you should always talk to the tech and not service advisor. i talked to the shop foreman (he's a master tech and also diagnosis specialist) and he knows A LOT. if you want to go to keyes, i can try to help you give them a heads up ahead of time, and hopefully they can help fix your problems.

but one thing to keep in mind, they did tell me that this car being a convertible is indeed more likely to have noise sometimes. but still they tried their very best to fix the problems and make us happy. i am giving them 10 thumbs up!!!

let me know if you need help, will do what i can.

thanks, rominl. i really appreciate it. i will definitely hit you up on that offer if i continue to experience more problems.

i had just about given up all hope. the roof creaking noises i can live with. the suspension and sway bar creaks i cannot. i am picking up the car in a few hours and crossing my fingers that they fixed it!

What year/model GS do you have? You have everything in your signature except the car.
