Where exactly is the steering wheel button located for the voice recognition? Is it near the cruise control or by the radio controls? Also how well does the system work while driving with the top down? Has anyone been able to get voice dialing working (esp. on a Treo 650)?
I'm thinking of trading in for the 2006 refresh when it comes out and was wondering if there's any significant improvement to the navi/voice recognition.

the botton is on the audio side. you see the volume button right, rear behind it more. if you look from teh side of the steering wheel, you will see the voice icon. pull on it and the nav will instruct you to say your command.
with the top down i tried it once, still worked no problem
what improvement are you expecting on the 06? i doubt if they will have change, coz' this geneation of the nav just came out since 04 ls430
no idea on phone dialing though, i dont' have a blue tooth phone yet
