Ordered a "mini" antenna due to the extending one broken off in a car wash. Can't get it to fit with any of the adapters. Anyone have a suggested brand guaranteed to fit ? Thanks

The stubby antenna gives it an updated look. Gone are the telescoping antennas...technology works. I installed a Honda S2000 antenna, I love it.

Yes that is a viable option. You do realize that the rear antenna is just for the AM. The FM antenna is in the windshield. So if you do not listen to AM just disconnect the rear antenna.

I have a 2002. The rear antenna to two different heights depending if radio is on am or fm.

I have an 05 and the second statement is correct for me.

 

I bought a replacement antenna that fit like OEM, but I still haven't fished out the remaining plastic strip broken off from the old antenna in the unit. The process is quite a hassle and involves splitting the unit open and getting this black sticky sealer all over the place. The videos look horrid. I really just wanted to plug the hole from where the old one broke off. I suppose I may delve into the correct fix one day. Ugh. I really don't like doing these sorts of repairs.

 

It's not that hard. Less that 2.0 hours work.
