Default 3UZFE replacement on 2008 SC430

Hi all, I just picked up a 2008 SC430 with a locked up 3UZFE. (thinking the timing belt broke). I need to swap in a replacement and inquired to a local junkyard for another 3UZFE. He says the oil pans can be different (no problem) and to check the cylinder heads. The engine is from a GS430. I thought all 3UZFE long blocks were the same. Does anyone know of differences in the cylinder heads that may make this swap difficult or not possible?

I've seen complete rebuilt long blocks on Summit Racing web site. Cost about 7k if I remember correctly.

If you check out YouTube there are several videos that highlight the difference.

I have never tackled anything as large as an engine swap, but What I would do is keep the old engine and new engine side by side and swap over the differing components. I would want to utilize the SC ecu and engine harness, so I would uses the sensors it needs.

I would assume the engines would have all the same connectors, but I could be wrong.

If it was me, I would go with the 2JZ and have a ball.

Update: bought the used 4.3 3uzfe engine from an LS430 which had 90k miles. The oil pan, pickup, and upper aluminum pan needed to be swapped from the SC430, as well as the wiring harness and dipstick. The fuel rail was also swapped over because the connection to the car was different. Last, the motor mounts were swapped. Exhaust manifolds were the same.
I dropped the engine in and it started right up! Hope this helps anyone looking to do the same.
