good attitude! i totally agree.
would love to see some pics when up and running.
thanks gleeson you don't know how much these photos helped me orient everything. One of the reason was the fuel line was running over the wire loom instead of under which i spent most of the morning correcting. then i found out i missing one grey plug that goes on the drivers side and and a broken plug on the passenger side. this is the wire that is broken that runs from the back of the motor and gets plug into one of three from the next photo... cant figure out where these go but im getting there....

i can’t tell where these connectors are located but if they are on the drivers side front, they could be connectors going down and not on top.
im missing this from my drivers side just the female portion??wierd
hey syphered,
i’m finally back home. here’s a closer look at that missing part. based on the part no., it’s a radio noise filter. i saw a used one on ebay for $24, and a new one from dealer for $99.
they go down by the fuel injector connectors and no its not on the drivers side its on the passengers side. i'll try and take better pictures today and circle it but everything i showed you was from the passengers side minus that one gray red circled grey clip
wow! great pictures now i see where everything is supposed to go i think and yeah that one black connector i'll have to just go to lexus and order it from the dealership lord knows what that part is called.but the one i circled in red over the yellow is the one it plugs into.i also gotta get some type of spray to restick the hanging piece of firewall insulation but that's after i get this stupid connector which by the looks of it is not going to be any fun to change but at least now i know how hard changing a starter on these cars is and every clip that can break, probably will, and you will have to change out old vacuum hoses cause at least one will be broken or break during removal. and finally before i start a job like this.... take thousand pictures and put them on the pc not just a phone which can break or get lost. thanks for all the help guys and I'll post some pics when done and hopefully driving. also the other connectors one of them gets plugged in the middle of where the injectors like lower on the block and im not even sure that one was necessary to unplug when i took off the intake, cause im pretty sure it was still plugged in on the other drivers side when i was still plugging things in.back in.
okay so this is where the car is at... I just have to find these 3 pieces and what they are called and order them and replace them, I went to my local Lexus dealership and showed him pictures of the exact parts I need and he couldn't find them on his ordering computer at the parts department, while he wasn't the most knowledgeable but he was working with some terrible diagrams, and just guessing and pointing and asking me is this the piece? So once again I am forced to bother you guys again for your help... part #'s or names of the parts would be greatly appreciated or anywhere I can find any info on these parts would be great. thanks again everyone. everything is pretty much connected again as u can see except for the battery and these 3 hoses, one is the vacuum hose that runs from the top to that one broken sensor I had to reorder earlier, the other one connects to the third pipe that runs across the intake and runs im guessing to the radiator and is a coolant line. the second one is another vacuum hose that runs from that black box thing to the greencapped evap line. they all either broke in half or when i tried to slide them back they just started ripping to pieces so i need new ones. I really want to show you guys a picture of her when shes all clean and running....
I’m half way through systematically replacing hoses on my 2005 so may be able to help with the first couple but you may want to double check against an online parts diagram as I found some hoses were different by model year.
i just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all there help I pulled the post down cause i didnt know which wat the leaky fuel line was running, my brain is shot so i just stretched the hose over where it was leaking and put a screwable hose clamp, i just wanna drive her again. thanks and sry guys
