Set Button
There is a "Set" button on the steering wheel by the volume controls. I read in the owners manual that this can be set to a specific volume level. I was curious what you folks use it (if at all) for?!? I set mine a zero volume so it acts like a mute button. However, it's not great because you can't punch it again to go back to the previous volume level. I guess it's a nice feature, but I've never seen a button on any other car like that that does that function. Let me know what you guys are using it for. thanks,
Doc C

Yup, I use that as a mute button too!
You're right, you can't get back to normal volume by pressing it again. One of the most commong features that is missing with this vehicle ... kind of odd to have left it out!

Same here. Mute, but rarely use it; radio takes foreeeeeeever to spool up again. A toggle switch (from mute to set volume) would have been perfect. Radio buttons embedded in the steering wheel spokes would have been nice too (like new accords); much easier to use. On the plus side, we can turn the stereo ON and OFF from the steering wheel; never seen that in any other car (nice if you like to keep the lid closed... and impress somebody
).
