CA Reman driver door hinge
He is sure a soarer fanatic and definitely knows what he is doing.
It costed me about $340 and I will sell it for $250 shipped in USA mainland residential address, $240 shipped to a business address, and take extra $10 off if you send as paypal gift. My loss is your gain.
The reason is that shipping this very heavy item from Australia takes $80 shipping and waited 4 months to arrive.
New one from dealer is about $400.
But Daryl's rebuilds is better because he puts in a better bushing and can be regreased via a fitting. He also test all his hinges in a jig.
If your door clips the fender, when you open, you need this part, otherwise it will eventually one day crease the fender. There are ghetto fixes like moving the fender and squeezing a phone book to bend the door or something. But if you want to keep your car for a while you probably want to replace it now.
The color is painted garnet pearl (metallic red) but could be repainted yourself with duplicolor, it's just painting on cast metal , doesn't need clear coat or anything.
Here is a little more info about how his makes his hinges

The finish he applied actually surprised me a bit how good it looks.
The plastic bushing he replaced with brass so it is better than OEM.
If you open your door and you can move the door up and down a bit that is not normal, look into replacing the hinge.
