Default WTB: This Trim Piece

I need this trim piece if anyone is parting an SC out. It is just held on by two snaps I believe.

It is the piece that covers the b-pillar on the door, here is a pic with what I need circled. I need the passenger side. Mine is all worn out, and I would like one that isn't faded out.

Thanks

Ethan

Take it down to your trusted body shop, have them sand it down and paint it. My shop failed to sand it...morons...

Ive been meaning to have mine painted GGP (IS300 color). Might even turn out cheaper than having to buy new pieces. Also, if you do both, theyll match.

Ethan,
I remember seeing your car for sale. Change of plans?

I took mine, sanded it down and finally coated it with about 3 or 4 coats of spray paint from Wal-Mart ($4 can) followed by 1 or 2 coats of Clearcoat and it looks GREAT! You'd never notice its different. Yes, it looks different from the other side but not with the overall look of the car. BTW you can try it for $8 and if it doesn't look good still get it refinished or replace it.

Default I am looking for it also for the driver's side

I don't mean to steal this thread. Since the thread owner is looking for the passenger side, I just want to post that I am looking for the driver's side. Mine is chipping out on top and start showing inside (silver color) Anyone has it let me know.

I saw once that this part came off as a external window trim together. All the silver color line around side window came off together.

This seller was parting out his SC and I saw he was selling the passenger side couple of weeks ago. Auction ended with no bidder. Ask seller a question, he might still have it.

The part in question is not a separate piece, but part of the whole chrome trim around the windows. Taking that off entails removing the interior door panels, loosening the window glass from the power mechanism and taking off the side view mirror. Unless it is really damaged, I recommend painting it like the other members have done.

2000 grit sandpaper, buff, machine glaze.

Brand new, and factory finish restored.

I guess I will have to swing by a body shop/paint shop to have this quoted...

Any guesses on price? Have you guys had this done before?

Thanks

All I really need is that part that is worn down, but PM me with a price and if it is good then maybe we can work something out.
