WTB: This Trim Piece
I need this trim piece if anyone is parting an SC out. It is just held on by two snaps I believe.
It is the piece that covers the b-pillar on the door, here is a pic with what I need circled. I need the passenger side. Mine is all worn out, and I would like one that isn't faded out.
Thanks
Ethan

I took mine, sanded it down and finally coated it with about 3 or 4 coats of spray paint from Wal-Mart ($4 can) followed by 1 or 2 coats of Clearcoat and it looks GREAT! You'd never notice its different. Yes, it looks different from the other side but not with the overall look of the car. BTW you can try it for $8 and if it doesn't look good still get it refinished or replace it.
I don't mean to steal this thread. Since the thread owner is looking for the passenger side, I just want to post that I am looking for the driver's side. Mine is chipping out on top and start showing inside (silver color) Anyone has it let me know.
I saw once that this part came off as a external window trim together. All the silver color line around side window came off together.

This seller was parting out his SC and I saw he was selling the passenger side couple of weeks ago. Auction ended with no bidder. Ask seller a question, he might still have it.

The part in question is not a separate piece, but part of the whole chrome trim around the windows. Taking that off entails removing the interior door panels, loosening the window glass from the power mechanism and taking off the side view mirror. Unless it is really damaged, I recommend painting it like the other members have done.
