Default Keys needed!

I just found out that my sister broke my only key to my 93 sc400, so I need a new or used key fob with remote built into it . Does anyone know where I can get one without paying a arm and a leg.

One of our CL vendors had a special deal I think goes through EOY (link below). Sometimes you can get them on ebay as well.

Default Key with remote

This will be a bit spendy as my understanding is you'll need to replace the chip to the primary brain to match the replacement key. For some reason, Lexus didn't allow for replacement keys by themselves until the later years. Therefore, since you'll have a spendy sunk cost anyway, I'd get several extra keys with matching remotes to the new chip.

Check with the vendor to be sure, but I'm pretty sure this is correct information.

Default Aftermarket keyless entry

also would be a good idea, I have to agree. Probably a lot less expensive considering the large markup on Lexus factory parts.

But, having been inside the doors replacing faulty factory locking/power locking module (some silly Lexus engineer decided to go against conventional wisdom and make it all one part), mounting an aftermarket locking module so things lined up properly would be a challenge. So, if you go that route, be sure and have it professionally installed.
