I used one like this on my BMW and it worked great! I ordered the instructions also before buying. It looks like it straps on to the back headrests possibly.

Nice installation video. That was very helpful. Answered a lot of questions.

However, I am wondering what this does to seat travel to the rear. It looks like he's got the front seats pretty far forward (considering he's STANDING on the floor between the back of the front seat and the front of the rear seat). In my car, both seats are always all the way back, right up against the rear seat cushion. And, I have the driver's seat tilted back a bit. Looks to me like I'd lose quite a bit of front-seat leg/headroom with this thing installed.

I love the idea though.

If someone would like to buy one of these things and have it sent to me, I'd be happy to write up a review of it.

Default windscreen

I found out the reserve is 275.00. There is a zero feedback bidder that I am suspect of since he has no privious buys and has bid 7 times on this but will not bid higher then what the reserve is. I smell a rat so I stopped bidding I felt that it was worth 250.00 to me . I agree it looks like you will have to lose some head and leg room since the seat may not be able to go all the way back.

Please, keep us informed. I'm very curious about the fit, build quality, if it really makes a big difference in top-down cruising and, as we talked about, head/legroom.

Buddy,

I'm interested to see if this is more effective in reducing wind than putting the rear windows up when the top is down. I know it's not possible to raise the rear windows from the factory but I'll find a way to do it even if I have to install the LuxLink.

Also, all the straps and fittings are black on the wind screen. If you have a black interior it would all dissapear. If your interior is lighter how would that look?

My interior is red. BUT the top portion of the boot and the raer shelf is black.
The mesh of the windscreen as well as the frame is black. I think it will look just fine even with my red interior.

I was interested in that also, especially since one of my kids routinely sits in the back seat (yes, people, the back seat can be used for humans!) Anyway, there was a thread a while back where one guy with the rear window controller said it made no difference as to wind flow. Ended my interest in the mod. Anyone else with the rear window controller have a different experience?
