which cover are you talking about? the little button on the shifter rim?

 

whether or not this cover is available depends on how hard you look. have you checked out your local lexus dealer or if not start checking junkyards there are several you pull it yards by Yardley, PA and another in Wrightstown, NJ. that should be a good start to get u where u need to be. good luck

Mine was missing when I bought my car, cost me $9 from the Lexus dealership.

 

Thanks for the update. I've email my local Lexus parts guy and I'm willing to pay $10 but I don't think they will look to hard for this part. Thanks for the salvage yard locations. If anyone has an extra one I'm interested.

Mine is missing as well so this thread reminded me I need to look for one from the dealer as the salvage yards don't seem to have any either however I ddon't even know what one looks like so with that being said does anyone have a pic?

 

FYI "Dealer Sticker Shock". My local Lexus dealer just quoted me $25

Yep. Highway robbery without a gun. I can't tell you what I paid for OEM mud guards. If the wife finds out I'll be sleeping in this SC300.

I had it in my car, but it was lost by a buddy during a HU install

 

According to my invoice I have: 33554-24020 COVER, SHIFT LOCK

This part# only applies to 98-00 SC.

 

Does anybody have a pic of one because mine never came with one so I have no idea what it looks like

It should be the same up to 97 as 98+ was gated shift style.
