Wood-->Vinyl Carbon interior
Seems vinyl carbon is all the craze right now sooo I thought why not.Got tired of looking at the wood so I decided on the carbon vinyl and I'm pretty impressed with this stuff.I was going to do a real carbon wrap but,just don't have the time to prep,glass,cure,sand,clear,sand sand etc.I have dabbled with real carbon and posted some pic.s of my other car below so you can get an idea of what the real carbon wrap with clear would look like compared to the vinyl.I DON'T RECOMMEND DOING YOUR WHOLE INTERIOR WITH THE REAL DEAL CARBON.I went through A LOT of trial/error and time when I did mine.And yes it's a real 2x2 dry weave carbon wrapped not pre-preg carbon,molds,oven etc.The seats and shift **** I bought

hands down the real stuff looks amazing and you did a crazy good job. The vinyl does look good too. I am getting tired of looking at my outdated woodgrain myself so I might steal some of your idea. Good job man.

Thanks it does mean a lot hearing that considering many people have never seen this car on the road cause quite frankly I am done with Hondas so this one unfortunately is going up for sale soon.
Yeah at the time I thought I see everyone at shows cut it short and do pieces here there so I thought why not be different and go all out and do EVERYTHING in carbon!!As much of a hassle as it was to do all this it doesn't get old looking at when I'm driving but,I would never do it again!!
forgot these too and got lazy with the head board..

I didn't go with the Di-noc but,they claim it looks the same.I went with this cause it was cheap and if anything I can do it over again but,now I'm curious how it's going to hold up when summer hits Atlanta
if I had to do it again I would go with the Di-noc.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT
No sir,a 97 civic Skyline GTR 34 tails and 93 Supra heads all done by me and the dad

Thanks,that was the point at the time but,now I look at it and go damn,a little overkill

With the vinyl I think it flows better for luxury cars with a nice dry weave look.The only down fall I had with the real carbon was a little reflection on the windshield when driving cause I did a final clear on it..

well I dont mean to be negative or put it down but to me the wood grain is ten times better than the carbon.
I give you credit for your hard work and it looks like you did the job properly------just I like the wood grain better thats all----just my opinion
Thanks for sharing though---good luck
