Angry Rant.

So I got a ticket for not having front lic plate and tinted windows about 3 weeks ago. The court date is Nov 17th. I was about to take off tint tomorrow, and guess what? I got pulled over tonight AGAIN for the same damn thing. For lic plate and tint. So basically I got 2 exact same tickets. I mean really, if I didn't even go to court for the first one how in the hell I can get the same ****?

they can issue multiple tickets for the same violation 10 times in one day if they want...its called not abiding by the law. Put your front plate on(zip tie if needed) and that ticked will most likely be dismissed. Get the tint removed, bam..no tickets.

I think even if I fix them, they will still charge me at least $20 per ticket... I had such a good day today until that **** happened

you can and you will.

the front plate you will have to pay. its one of those easy things to fix. tint is a bit different. you should have showed the cop the tickets and that they are for the same citations. tell him you are taking the car to your mechanic so he fixes those issues.

i have gotten away with stuff like that. work the system man

This is what I'm afraid off. I think you have to pay the fine for the first or 2nd one then you can do a fix-it on one or the other but not both.... Or I guess fight it in court and try to just fix-it by removing tint and putting front plates. Tell the judge you just haven't had time to pay someone to remove tint and buy the brackets for the plates.

There is no way around the $20/ticket. Thats processing fee or whatever.

Do you have holes in your bumper or brackets to mount the front plate? A friend of mine (in SoCal) got the same no front plate ticket, but he told and showed pictures to the judge that there were no holes or mounting brackets in the front bumper so there was no where to put it. He also mentioned that he would bring the car the dealership he bought it at to get it fixed. Good luck!

I said to him that I will fix it tomorrow and that I just basically got a ticket for the same thing but he was very rude and I was like F that.

I think it depends on the county where the ticket was issued. Seeing how broke CA is, it has probably been increased quite a bit. My fix it ticket in Irvine was $35 5-6 years ago.

$20 for a ticket? I'd be laughing if I got a ticket that was $20...

These are fix-it ticket BLK13X.. Its not one of those moving violation traffic tickets.... Depends on the ticket but when I got a fix-it ticket for tinted windows, the bail amount if i don't fix-it (remove tint) was like $210.

Oh, where in Australia? I'll be there for 2 weeks leaving wed night (10/21/09)
