slow windows +++ needs full voltage +12v to speed up
When I was tinkering around with my windows I noticed when I was testing them that if I applied a full 12v to the motor it would roll up and down at regular speed and the motor is quite strong as you could feel the torque when you started it up or down. So I know that they aren't hindered or dirty and the motor (regulators) work just fine.
Then I plug it back in the harness and test it but then they barely move but if you hold them long enough they will eventually close or open all the way. Closing is excruciatingly slow and opening is of course a bit more bearable.
Is there a way to re-wire the window motors to use the full 12v from the battery instead of through the ignition switch? I think it's not getting the full 12v through the ACC setting for some reason and so the windows operate very slowly.

Have you measured the voltage going to the window motor as supplied by the usual wiring? Perhaps contacts are dirty? I haven't looked at the wiring diagram but many cars use a solenoid for the power windows so the power isn't actually routed through the ignition switch anyway; it should be getting power sourced from the battery.

Check the guide pins, ie lube them. You can always check the voltage on the harness with a DMM while your rolling the windows up. That worm drive motor is strong, it ripped the rubber insulator puck apart on mine when the lower guide pin came loose and the window was binding.

Sorry, when I said solenoid, I meant 'relay'.
