Default Power window issue

My passenger side window motor keeps going out. I am on my 3rd motor so far and they all do the same thing. They will work for a while and then they like to get stuck down. I have checked and the motor is getting power but it does nothing. I have 12v coming in at the center blue wire on the switch and then depending on the switch position I have the voltage at the motor. What keeps killing these motors? Regulators are still intact on all of them.

1. Have you been replacing the motor only or the whole regulator assembly?
2. Have you been testing the motor directly to a 12 volt power source (i.e. the battery) to verify it is in fact toast? No switches, just the motor and the battery.
3. The motors are only failing when the window is in the down position correct?
4. Have you inspected the motors-Do they look ok, or is there maybe some corrosion on the inside?

I have done the following.
Hooked the motor up straight to the battery, no movement.
Checked the voltage at the motor itself when the switch is in the up and down position and it is indeed getting the proper 12v depending on the switch.
The motors both go down but not up and they are both getting voltage as they should. I pulled one of the motors apart and it appears that one of the brushes are damaged. That explains why one motor is not working but what about the othere?
I had my original one go bad
Bought one from Gazi and it lasted for a bit and it crapped out. Gazi replaced it and it is the one I have now with the bad brush. The other one I have I picked up from a junkyard. I have checked voltage on all the wires at the switch and they are reading properly as is the plug at the motor and the wires going into the motor itself.

Have you ever disassembled your window, including the tracks? I ask because I did, but could never really get the window to work properly. It goes down about twice as fast as it goes up. If you have the same situation you could just be burning the motors up.

Never disassembled it. And every time I have replaced it it was the entire motor regulator assembly. I am kind of stumped wit this one.

Only thing that burns motors out is resistance. If you are confident that your window goes up and down smoothly (just remove the regulator and free it up so it'll slide up and down by hand) then the only other thing that will do it is a bad ground to the motor.

^+1

Make sure the regulator guide rail is lubed as well as the 2 window guides.

How does the window motor ground? Is it just grounded via the motors chassis?

With the motor and regulator off the car the regulator goes down but not back up. I pulled one motor apart and one of the motor brushed fell out so that is what I assume is wrong with that one.
