Default Turn signal socket

Hey guys so do to our cars getting up their with age eventually the turn signal sockets will burn out (this happened to me). And after much searching I couldn’t find anywhere that sells new for our cars. But I found a solution that the turn signal sockets from a 1999 ES300 are exactly the same and readily available. Hope this info helps!

If there is a number on the connector append it to 90980- and do a search. But thanks for the tip.

^^ What LeX2K said. Find the embossed 5-digit part number on that 1999 ES300 socket (if it is a grimy or dirty part wipe it off) and then put 90980- to the front of that number which you locate. That will give the Toyota/Lexus part number that can be ordered from any dealer (some part numbers are Lexus-only or Toyota-only though).

Interesting I didn’t know that and I’ll keep it in mind for next time. I was just hoping someone would find this info useful

It is. I make frequent salvage yard visits sometimes I need a socket or connector I have to look through dozens of cars since there is no cross reference for this kind of thing that I know of.
