I've wanted to get myself a front strut bar as well but I have always heard that it is not needed as much on cars with a front double wishbone suspension as compared to those with front strut suspensions.[/QUOTE] I just got my cusco front strut bar installed on my sc400 and believe it or not I felt a big improvement in handling right away. Definatly less lean, and more stability over bumps. Youve spoken alot about sway bars for supra, but any experience with the whiteline sway bar?
FYI: the shop talked me into going all the way, the adjustable coil overs complete set up. So more bucks, but hopefully this coming week the Bullet will be ready to "Roll"
(perfctreig)
Pretty sweet. I like how the seats and steering wheel match the exterior color. What head unit do you have?
____
(Ali SC3)
this made me lol..
Barbary, looks pretty sharp after all these years, you have taken good care of it and it shows
(ObSCessed)_
I like those purple floor mats barbary, have you considered putting in some blue LED interior lights? I recently did my black and grey interior with them and the blue light compliments grey nicely. As for condition that is like a time capsule. Do you still have your original seats? Did you notice a difference in handling when you switched to race seats?
Perfect: thanks, just not sure what you mean by "head unit"
Ali: thanks, I don't do much except drive it. I do keep it washed and I armourall the entire interior twice a year, but that's it
all the Best
Obsessed: from a former Bay Area guy, actually downtown SF. to another Bay Area guy. Can you imagine keeping a purple SC in downtown? I did!
You mentioned the purple mats. They are the most recent additions and I have to tell you when I get into the car for the first time for the day and see them I get a big smile on my face
I think when people see the Bullet they see a strong theme running thru out, "Shades of Blue" If you see disjointed photos of the car its different than seeing the whole.
Seeing the whole most folks get a smile.
As for blue interior lights, the Purple Bullet is not a showcar. The Bullet is a Hard Drivin, Long Distances @ Hi Speeds >>> GT.
that's what it Loves to do and the reason it is what it is today.
I don't have the original seats. I dumped them as fast as I could. OK, this is going to sound funny but when I first drove it w the Corbeau's the 1st word that came to mind was Nimble! I know. It was lighter on its feet, moving better, real nice. And I'm looking forward to what its going to be like w a whole new coil over suspension! Yes
Hey I saw a shot of your SC from the rear. A silver and black gotta look awesome! Post some photos of it for us in the forum
That is impressive to say the least, knowing you kept the bullet in busy downtown SF, with countless hazards like tow away zones and outrageous parking prices, not to mention some of the WORST drivers and endless junkies walking by, I am actually flabergasted its in such amazing shape. A true testament to the quality of your ownership. I am like an over protective dad compared to you, I only let her out on sunny weekends and no bad neighborhoods haha. Here in the lawless city of oakland there are so many hazards I am hesitant to take them out but once or twice a week. Between the thousands of no license plate no insurance having no gooders driving around this city, and the sideshow and bike takeovers that are a nightly occurence, its a hard city to have a nice car in. Actually just did a photo shoot with my gf for our band The Inducers where our photogropher did some cool lighting tricks at night while we posed with the SC, will post those as soon their done being edited
for everyone to enjoy soon! But heres one just for fun ...
Yeh for all the reasons you mentioned I don't live there any more
I did keep it in a very secure garage, but I was out on the "Streets of San Francisco" everyday
