Looking forward to some pics, Taka!

Yeah, running the power cable is no fun- you have to go thru the hole in the inner fender, driver's side. The only way to do it properly is to remove the front wheel and then remove the black plastic inner fender panels. When you do you will see a big rubber grommet that you can squeeze a thick cable thru. My grommet needed to be pierced, and I needed to tape my 4 GA cable to a thinner wire to push it through.

Then you run it towards the rear of the car. Pop off the trim strip that secures the carpeting and you can then run your cable alongside the existing wiring harness. A bit tedious, but nothing too challenging.

Here's a pic of the "wire puller" I rigged up. More pics of the process, and more instructions, can be found at this thread:

thanks perry, I'll take off the carpet and see if I can hide the cable there.

yea it took 2hrs to figure out how to run the cable to the engine room. I made the hook with the hanger and pull the cable out lol. but it worked.

Yes I know this is an old thread. I was debating on removing the rear seats, period. Is there carpeting I can get to cover the exposed metal or how would I go about covering it up?
