ah ah! I know this one.

I had the some problem 2 weeks ago after someone stole my audio from my trunk.

Initially, I had no idea like u but I finally figured it out.

You need to take out the rear headrests. If you look carefully, you can lift the leather (with velcro) and two screws (one on each side) will appear.

Take those off and the back seat can come off.

The rear deck has some plastic holders at the edge. Take those off and you can lift the rear deck enough for u to place the sub back. Dont forget to tighten those sub screws good or else you may have rattles that will force you to do this all over again.

Have fun!

Manuel

GS4fun--you're a life saver. I just had some TV's put in the car, and I had the Brain's of the TV's mounted in the trunk. The guy who installed it for me forgot to secure the back seats in.

I was driving one day with the windows down, and when I looked in the rear view mirror, I saw my seats a little closer than usual---basically, the wind was lifting them and the seat belts where holding them down---they were just floating in the back. That some crazy sh**!!!!!! But I have been looking all over to find how to fasten them down, but I never checked under the headrests. I was going to take it to the dealership, but I have been too lazy!!!!

Thanks for the input

Ted, there is two clips holding the lower seats down just pull it hard it will come off. The upper seats are held on by a couple of bolts. 1 each behind the head rest, 1 in the middle fold down hand rest. 4 bolts in the lower part after you remove the bottom seats, they will be tough to remove might want to use a long rachet handle for those.

Does the rear seat back have to be removed to pull up the rear deck?
