I think that's a great approach then. As long as you've got some other transport with your Tundra at least you can park this, work on it when you have time, and cruise it here and there. Sometimes I have to slow down and remind myself not everything ever happens at once and to try and enjoy the process a little bit more.

Welp, the changing of the power steering fluid has kept the power steering noise to a minimum, still leaks ATF fluid out of the high pressure hose.... On another note
Gotta admit that these 215/45R17s look paltry in comparison to the chunky 16's up front. Rear tires are kept as spares for both my cars, while I decide what tires I'm going with.

Welp, moving. Upgraded my bulbs to LED. So far ia much brighter output. The Halogens were getting long in the tooth and started developing a blind spot.
Old bulb

Went with 9006 Sylvania bulbs.

Last week she looks raggedy... Stock front with matching tires, 2 different wheel in the rear with matching tires as well... The 18's will have to wait for now.. FedEx and America's Tire's logistics were slighlty off, but no biggie, should be getting my 4th tire today or this week.

Update
Well, I'm sort of back at square one. Initially started with a stalling issue, and I'm kind of back at it again. Sort of a back story on this, Since July she took over daily driver duties from my Tundra (family car) as I started having a brake issue. Once I got the brake issue resolved it started having battery issues, as the negative post started calcifying from below the negative post and was having starting issues. Since they're both 27F batteries, I swapped the battery over to my Tundra and took it to Costco and got it replaced with a 27F. Took my SC's battery and placed it in the bed and reinstalled it back on the car once I was home. The next day I drove the SC to work, no issues, until it was time to go it was warm outside and it stalled twice on initial start. I figured it would give me a few issues since the ECU is relearning again, not a big deal. Today I stalled out in Drive and in traffic, not sure if the battery is starting to fail because of the swap or another underlying issue. Regardless I'll probably replace the battery under warranty as I purchased it about a year ago.

On another update she's now sitting on all 4 OEM wheels with Yokohama Advan A/S+ tires in stock trim. Drawback is I misplaced my lug nuts
Main reason I was debating whether I wanted to resurface a set of SSR wheels I acquired on here and get them wrapped and mount them instead, while I pondered this I've moved and pretty much buried them in the garage while I have been reorganizing and tossing a host of stuff. She's been on borrowed wheel for like a year and a half as she sat on another set of 17 inch wheels from my Celica, but she needed to move around too, so no more musical wheels...
I acquired 5 lugs from Toyota as they share the same part number, buuuuut... They're shorter and appear sunken in and I don't like the look of them, so I may need to dig in deep to find them or go back to Valencia Lexus and acquire the longer lugs from them, at least I'll have spares since I no longer have the wheel locks as the key fractured after removing 3 locks, I lock fractured taking the key with it. I'll post pictures of them at a later time.

New OEM Toyota lugs

In addition to these the idle issue is back, cold vs hot, N and D.

LED lights looking super clear at night. The old halogens I probably saw half of this maybe a quarter, due to the fogged out bulb.
Idle is back to normal no stalling or cold/warm start issues. She's back on daily duties, and weather is getting colder.
She groans every now and then, and a leak appears to have developed dead center. Appears to be coolant, but there has been puddles on dips near my home, so pretty much the only time I have leaks is when I cross them. I have removed the lower splash guard since it's starting to go, I may just pick up a Z30 one.

Finally picked up some 2UZ injectors Denso green non-VVT-i and will experiment with them.. If I remember correctly CarTuneNZ did state they're direct fit. Just looking for better atomization for now and prepping for real modifications here shortly.

Driver side headlight is starting to fog up on the left side, I'll add another picture to this. I think it's the heat that's getting to it, because it's 1,000 degrees in the summer here. Gonna have to Flex seal it, along with the driver side tail that's showing condensation LOL. .

It's always somethin on old cars isn't it? Sometimes I get a bit frustrated and have to remind myself that these cars are 30 + years old in some cases lol.

LOL... For sure.. As I age I do the same I gotta have a checklist of stuff I need before I leave the house... and even checking it twice I forget things... lol..

I also had to drain the transmission pan since I over filled it when I thought the pan seal let go and I had a massive stain right below the transmission, turned out to be water, lol.. Stain is gone the the level is over the hot level.

For real - now that I'm also 30+ I've gotta run through my checklists too. I've got so many reminders on my phone these days I don't know how I'd get by without it lol.

OK. Today I struggled to remove the driver side tail light, more like the center bolt wouldn't release pressure and I don't want to break it either. I tried pushing it out with a screwdriver and wiggling left to right, nothing worked. My first attempt at replace my tail light bulbs was unsuccessfully, shicking I know lol. While I sat defeated in the passenger seat during my break, I decided to look ocer this Premium sound system in my late 93. So premium sound means Pioneer, I guess this whole time I thought it was Nakamichi.. So, I snapped some selfies, lol, and this is what was underneath the covers. Pictured top is the passenger side, driver side's markings are worn, bottom...

I looked these up, can't find much info besides the 4 ohms.. Assuming its a 6 1/2 or 5 1/4, just hoping its a 6 1/2, since I have some spare JL audio speakers that I may drop on here

Anyone know??

Time to correct my mistake and reproduce a center cap that I fatalitied when I got new tires. Just need to color match the gray. all the others are faded so it will be a group refresh. Chrome may come from a wrap, or nail polish... maybe a spray can. I'm picking up spare interior bits to reproduce as necessary. Gryphon will be a key chain since I lose my keys in my pockets

Went to the local salvage yard to attempt to salvage some parts fro. a 93 SC300 and whoever got their hands on the thing was a straight savage. Tore apart pretty much every single panel and trim. Welp, on to the next one. Got the fuel pump ECU for testing and learning purposes.
