Default Headlight redesign.

I know there are companies that do Halo conversions and LED conversions and such but has anyon ever seen an SC headlamp with dual low/high beam Poly-ellipsoid lamps and the outer marker lamp position reduced in size and repurposed as a LED turn/marker? Then the center standalone lamps could be used as long range fog or driving lamps.

He will do whatever you want if you're willing to pay for R&D for a one off prototype.

^ Yep. OGS has done something similar before. I've also seem people put hi/lo HIDs in the stock 9006 housings, so they now have 4 sets of brights

I have the guys working on some headlights and tailights on another car for me, process seems to be taking FOREVER. However I am cutting them some slack with all that is going on.

He's building a set for me as well. It's been a couple months, I just told him to finish before a car show in October. At this point, almost every part on my car takes 10+ weeks to manufacture, so I've gotten used to it.

I'm at about 6 months+ waiting on carbon fiber trim replacement.

Damn next time I talk to him I will tell him stop working on those lights for the black Lexus coupe. LMAO. I know the feeling, I am almost at the point of just saying take your time. Probably just shoot for next year to get everything done. Engine is in Florida being built to sustain the horsepower goals, however, those guys can't ship it out because so much stuff is closed.

I didn't have them start on a second headlight design because I was nervous paying the money to guys so far away. In the car industry, you come across so many negative experiences, however, hearing so many positives on here my concerns were alleviated.

I'll go to his house and annoy him until they're done. Last time we spoke, he told me mine were almost done anyways, he was waiting on some wiring to show up.

I’d love to get a custom set of headlights and taillights done by OGS. I just need to save up so I can finally get it done. I figured it took a while to build so I plan on having a set of lights to use while a separate set if being built.

Somewhat related to this post, but does anyone know of a high/low LED 9006 kit? I'm playing with the idea of turning my high beams into dedicated DRL/parking lights. I've looked around and found that LED tech for 9004/9007 bulbs is exactly the same except for a 2nd set of diodes so I was curious if any company had stated doing this. I know there was a HID kit made for hi/low that was plug and play for 9006 but this is 2020 and I'd like to move on to LED tech.

that’s the sexiest sc headlights and taillights I’ve ever seen. $5500 for the setup, but I’m willing to max a credit card out.

As much as I want to support my friend, I wouldn't recommend maxing out a credit card for his products.

I don't recommend maxing out a credit card for anything. I've already got a spare set of headlights high beams and tail lights waiting to send in to OGS for overhaul work but I'll be going with a milder stock-ish restoration all around.

Has anyone posted a thread on the details of that conversion? Like what the wiring changes are, and any other details that might escape the obvious? That would be an amazing conversion.

The OG status retroquick kit is a good option if you want dual high beams. You'll have to make an adapter harness to wire up both high beams.
